Frequently Asked Questions

As I hear from readers throughout the years some questions continually arise

What Are You Using for Software?

This iteration of the blog is running under WordPress. I’ve custom developed the theme based on the Divi framework.

Who Are You Hosting With?

I’ve used several service providers over the years but for the past several I have been with HostGator who has done a great job of keeping the servers running with minimal disruptions.

Do You Make Websites for Others?

Life is too short to settle for ugly web sites.  It breaks my heart to see people settling for web pages that don’t match their personality or vision. I always love helping others create their dream sites.

Help Finding Information Online?

When developing a solution, I try to do as much research as possible. Some of my go-to places are listed on the links page.

How Do You Decide What to Write?

I would love to say I have a method to my madness but quite honestly I select subjects based on experiences and what interests me. I am always looking for new subjects so feel free to suggest something.

Do You Accept Guest Authors?

Initially that interested me but as I assessed why I created this blog, it was to give me a place to express myself and that message becomes diluted when others are writing the posts. At the present time I am not accepting guest posts or authors.

Are You Using AI Content?

I am closely monitoring AI to understand it better. For this site, I have no plans on using it to create content. The goal of this site is to share my personal experiences not those of a machine.

Who is John Galt?

You will have to read Atlas Shrugged for yourself to find the answer to that question.

“Whether you know it or not, your desire to write comes from the urge to not just be “creative,” it’s a need (one every human being on earth has) to help others. A well-told Story is a gift to the reader/listener/viewer because it teaches them how to confront their own discomforts.”
