WordPress Blogging Software

October 1, 2009
Recently I wrote an entry about changing blog software for the various blogs that I use. I had long been a Movable Type user but decided to change my blogs to use WordPress. In the article I listed several reasons why I made that decision and offered to provide details on how the transition went. Well that was nearly three months ago and I realized that I never went back to the subject. Since I am sure everyone has been on the edge of their seats waiting to hear how it ended I figured I owed it to you to revisit that decision and give you some details on how it went.

Definitely an MVU – Most Valuable Utility

Today I am continuing my assault on the Macintosh software list trying to match up software I will need for my upcoming migration from Windows. I’ve started my list of applications or functions I want to make sure and replicate after the move. Customer service is extremely important and I like to be able to devote as much of my time as I can when I take on a new project. There are times though when my worlds collide and I find myself having to accept new development work during baseball season. That usually will require a lot of very long days that include work, baseball, and development. These activities can consume roughly 21 hours a day. I’m usually ok with that since I rarely sleep more than 4 hours a night so what’s an extra hour right?
