What Happened to Global Warming?
by Jeff Summers on Dec.05, 2009, under Miscellaneous
For the past several years all we have heard was that man was ruining the environment and that the planet was on the verge of revolt. Terms such as “global warming” and “carbon footprint” were bantered about each being used to describe the impending doom we are about to face.
Scientists throughout the world lamented of melting polar ice caps and large holes in the ozone layer. We were told again and again that if things did not quickly do an about face we could face extinction much like the dinosaurs eons ago.

We have a tradition around our house. Each Thanksgiving as we sit around the table admiring the bountiful feast of which we are about to partake; we go around the table and each person states one thing for which we are thankful.
After everyone has had a turn, we say grace and thank our Heavenly Father for all that he has provided for us in our lives. It is a small and simple tradition but one that has become very important in our family.
